AYA National Meeting in Panama

November 1-5, 2012 at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort

The AYA National Meeting is held at an exciting international location each year with approximately 130 Local Coordinators, staff, overseas partners and guests in attendance. There is a full day of training workshops and 2 days free for optional tours of the area that are arranged by AYA just for our group. This is a great way to get to know other Local Coordinators and the AYA staff as well as to visit another part of the world!

This year we will be staying at an all-inclusive luxury resort in the rainforest of Panama, the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. The hotel is located where the Chagres River meets the Panama Canal and optional tours will include a visit to Panama City, the Panama Canal and the Miraflores locks, an indigenous Embera Indian village (an unforgettable experience!) and shopping time on each tour!

Your hotel accommodations, your meals and beverages at the hotel are included this year as well as our final dinner and dance celebration that always proves to be a great time. This is a great way to get to know other Local Coordinators and the AYA staff as well as to visit another part of the world!

To qualify for this amazing trip to Panama, new Local Coordinators (hired after August 1, 2011) must place 4 students by August 1, 2012.

Current LCs: Your 2012 Local Coordinator agreement includes details on how to qualify!

If you are not currently a local coordinator, apply now and you may be on your way to Panama with AYA!
